Shipping & Return Policies
Call for freight cost.
All merchandise is the customer's responsibility once shipped from our warehouse. If an issue arises during shipment, please contact the shipper.
If order is sent via trucking company then curbside delivery will be provided and someone has to be there to receive and inspect product. All orders must be inspected upon receipt for any possible damages or shortages. If there is a shortage or damaged product, make a note of it on the driver’s Bill of Lading. It is the customer’s responsibility to file a claim for lost or damaged shipments with the trucking company. If whoever is accepting the shipment does not note any visible damage or missing items on the driver’s bill of Lading, or if the customer does not allow the damaged or missing items to be inspected by the freight company for any reason, you will be unable to file a claim against the carrier. Do not use or throw away any damaged items since damaged goods become the property of the freight company. All broken merchandise must be reported within 24 hours of receipt of product. Please inspect the packaging and content upon receipt of package; Designer Stone Outlet is not responsible for damaged goods reported past 24 hours of receipt of product.
For larger deliveries where freight companies are being used, someone must physically be at the location to receive the goods. For residential deliveries it is the customer’s responsibility to bring the product inside the home..
Granite, marble, limestone, travertine, onyx, slate, quartzite, glass and any other items Designer Stone Outlet may sell are products of nature or are hand made. Variation in color, shade, veining and overall look is normal and is to be expected. Please inspect all product prior to installation. Installation will infer acceptance of the material. Absolutely no claims will be accepted after installation.
Please contact Designer Stone Outlet to receive authorization to make returns. No returns will be accepted after 7 days of receipt of merchandise and must be in resalable condition. Resalable means all materials must be in there original, unopened packaging. No exceptions. *There is a 25% restocking fee on all returned orders, unless damaged due to shipping, and client incurs all return shipping charges. Credit will be credited back to original credit card minus the 25% restocking fee and the original shipping charges.
Missing or Damaged goods
All orders are inspected prior to shipment. If merchandise arrives damaged or is missing begin claim process as described above.
